Florida State University Homecoming Executive Council

concept

Comprised of volunteer full-time students who plan events for FSU students and the Tallahassee community each year.  All positions are full-year responsibilities and students are chosen from an application and interview process.  Positions are tied both to events and areas such as working with volunteers, student groups, communications, marketing, sponsorships, and event planning to name a few.  Council members coordinate with entities across campus including university departments, food services, housing, and athletics as well as off-campus communities and vendors.

creative direction

Provided creative direction for the 2019 and 2018 FSU Homecoming branding suite and event graphics.
Collaborated with FSU's Division of Student Affairs for direction and final graphics shared below.
The best part:  Pete Davidson was our comedic artist of 2019 and is pictured below in our Homecoming long sleeve, featuring our logo design for that year.

Designed the complete logo and branding suite for the 2018 FSU Homecoming theme: Garnet, Gold, & Glory in honor of FSU Homecoming's 70th Anniversary.  Collaborated with FSU's Division of Student Affairs to create the final versions shared below.

social media

Designed graphics in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.  Communicated with Event Chairs via Google Forms and Sheets to collect any relevant information in regards to designing and posting.  Posts were scheduled and planned using Hootsuite. Graphics were posted across Instagram & Instagram Stories, Twitter, Facebook, Facebook events, and on FSU Homecoming event websites.

Materials designed to be used for event promotion.  Includes materials such as handbills, punchcards, and shirt designs, as shown below.  All materials were designed, ordered, and distributed across Tallahassee by myself and the Marketing team.
