The Innovation Hub was built in 2018 through a $2.5 million investment to deepen FSU’s commitment to continuous innovation in undergraduate education. “The Hub” serves as a place for students of all disciplines to collaborate on innovation and entrepreneurship technology as well as attend academic courses, create product prototypes, record music or podcasts, build robots, and much more.
The Innovation Hub offers highly-competitive paid Internships to students committed to innovation and entrepreneurship. I held the position Marketing and Social Entrepreneurship Intern, responsible for fostering the relationship between FSU's Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIE) Department and the Innovation Hub.

event marketing
Planned, marketed, and hosted a range of events at the Innovation Hub including guest lectures, fun workshops, and social events. Created event graphics in Canva and Photoshop and promoted online, across campus, and social media.

Developed social media strategy and corresponding event schedule as well as creating content for posts. Graphics were designed in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva. Social Media posting done through Hootsuite, TweetDeck, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Inno campaign
Wanting a ‘mascot’ for the Innovation Hub to bring some fun character and personality to marketing efforts, I illustrated “Inno.” The Innovation Hub space was designed to facilitate the design process, complete with meeting rooms, whiteboards on every wall, dozens of crafting and work spaces, and a 3D print lab. My idea was to have Inno look like the beginning sketches of a character, as if he was taken right from a storyboard frame. This design reflects the Innovation Hub’s collaborative and innovative space and echoes the ideation phases of the design process that the Hub fosters and encourages in students.
